2024 Annual Wheelchair/Adaptive Tai Chi Chuan Instructor Advanced & Certification Training
I am pleased to invite you to participate in the 2024 annual Wheelchair/Adaptive Tai Chi Chuan Instructor Advanced & Certification training.
This 3-day (21-hour) training event will be held at Chattanooga, the scenic city of the South, from June 4 to 6th, 2024.
Partnered with Adaptive Tai Chi International, this training event will provide you with an in-depth learning and practicing experience and help you become more confident to apply the 7-posture wheelchair/adaptive Tai Chi Chuan program benefitting Veterans with disabilities.
An instructor certificate awarding ceremony will be conducted at the end of the 3-day training. The requirements and process for earning the instructor certificate will be posted at http://adaptivetaichi.org
Registration
Online registration for this program opens on March 1, 2024, and ends on May 31, 2023. The registration fee is $399, but an “early bird” price of $235 is available for participants who complete the registration before or on March 31, 2024. To complete registration and reserve your spot, payment is due at checkout.

As in previous years, sessions will include reviews of and advanced instruction in all four modalities of Adaptive Tai Chi: Seated, Standing, Walking, and Wheelchair Forms + Warm Ups. Days will include group and individual practice along with time for Q&A and best practice sharing.
Participants are expected to attend all sessions all three days to receive credit for the program.
